I was really happy with the how the composition turned out for this page. It's always a fun opportunity to play around with panel layouts when you have a double-page spread that's not just a splash page.

Love the shadowy faces on the left.
Why did you go light on the dark areas? I see some artist go really dark on shadows but you use a real light shading.
*just trying to pick your brain.

It doesn't really matter how I do it as long as the inker understands what I'm going for. I use lighter shading in big dark areas so that it doesn't muck up the outlines or details or whatever and get confusing.
